Urdu Academy Honors Successful Participants of Aao Urdu Sikhe Summer Camp Vijayawada, June 3: The certificate distribution ceremony for participants who successfully completed the Aao Urdu Sikhe Summer Camp, organized by the Andhra Pradesh State Urdu Academy, was held grandly at Musafir Khana, One Town, Vijayawada. Minority Welfare & Law Minister N.M.D. Farooq, who attended as the Chief Guest, praised the efforts of Urdu Academy Chairman Mohammed Farooq Shubli in promoting Urdu language education across the state and encouraging youth to learn Urdu. TDP National Vice President TD Janardhan lauded the Academy’s innovative initiatives for preserving and promoting the Urdu language, while Minority Affairs Adviser Ahmed Sharif appreciated the successful implementation of Urdu promotion programmes throughout Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Farooq Shubli said that Urdu is an important cultural heritage language and that learning Urdu can create greater opportunities in education, employment, and cultural development. He reaffirmed the Academy’s commitment to expanding the Aao Urdu Sikhe programme across the state. The programme was attended by AP State Urdu Academy Director/Secretary Sheikh Mohammed Ghouse Peer, Vice Chairman Pathan Khader Khan, Board Member Mehboob Basha, Sufi leader Altaf Baba, and other dignitaries. students, parents, and Urdu enthusiasts participated in the event. Certificates were presented to successful candidates, while outstanding performers were honored with special mementos.

Vijayawada: A free 30-day Basic Urdu Coaching Programme will commence from June 1, 2026, providing an opportunity for students, youth, and language enthusiasts to learn Urdu online at no cost. The programme aims to teach the fundamentals of Urdu reading, writing, and speaking in a simple and practical manner. Organizers said the initiative is particularly beneficial for students planning to pursue Urdu as a Second Language at the Intermediate level, as well as those interested in improving their language skills. Speaking about the programme, Shaik Nagurvali, M.A., M.Phil., APSET, said that Urdu is an important part of the country's cultural heritage and that learning the language can open doors to higher education and employment opportunities. Vijayawada, Dec 6: On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas, the Minority Human Rights Protection Society MHPS unveiled a statue of the social reformer at its state headquarters in Mogalrajapuram. The event was led by MHPS Founder & President and AP Urdu Academy Chairman Janab Farooq Shubli. MLA Sri Gadde Rammohan Rao praised the initiative and emphasized the importance of protecting constitutional values. TDP Politburo Member Sri T.D. Janardhan Garu appreciated MHPS for strengthening Dalit Muslim unity through meaningful programmes. Sri Gadde Rammohan Rao Sri T.D. Janardhan formally inaugurated the statue. Speaking on the occasion, janab Farooq Shubli said Dr. Ambedkar belonged to every Indian who believed in justice and equality, and the statue symbolises Dalit Muslim unity. Leaders highlighted historic instances of solidarity between Dalits and Muslims and stressed the need for renewed social harmony. Vijayawada, Nov 12: Corporator Sri Apaji has welcomed the Andhra Pradesh Government’s decision to release ₹90 crore towards the honorarium of Imams and Muazzins across the state. He said the announcement made by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu on the occasion of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s birth anniversary is a historic step towards strengthening Minority welfare. Speaking to the media, Apaji said: “Imams and Muazzins play a vital role in guiding society with spiritual and moral values. The CM’s decision to provide ₹15,000 monthly honorarium is a big relief and a sign of respect for their service.” He also appreciated Deputy Chief Minister Sri Pawan Kalyan stating that both the CM and Deputy CM have shown true commitment to solving Minority issues and fulfilling long-pending promises.
